Hi, I'm Richel! I touch people for a living. I am the owner of Massage Therapy by Richel, also a mobile/traveling licensed massage therapist since 2021, was working in a spa setting and currently self-employed. I was born and raised in the Philippines, moved up here in Mcpherson, Kansas since 2010 and got married and became a U.S. Citizen and currently living in Lenexa, KS. I am also a spa addict since young back home.
Massage is just part of my culture, we put so much importance on self-care and believes the importance of taking care of ourselves so we can take care better of our family as well. I care about my clients well-being, health and wellness that is why i get into a massage program at WellSpring School of Allied Health in Lawrence, Kansas and enrolled the associate program. Helping people is always been my passion. I was in healthcare before I become a massage therapist, working in a long-term care facilities and hospitals.
As a massage therapist, I have worked in different clients in a spa clinic. I massaged a client as young as a baby/infant, pregnant, body builder, nurses, chiropractors, doctors anyone basically up to 88 yrs. old and enjoyed the wonderful experiences working with different populations. Its always been my pleasure helping people feel great after each sessions, and always appreciated their feedback. I have learned incredible techniques and strategies from each of my experiences. In my 3 yrs. in these industry, I have never stopped growing and always have a thirst to learn more through different continuing education, seminars, workshops with a variety of options to choose from on how to better improve my craft.
My goal is to provide a high quality, relaxing massage therapy services within the comfort and convenience of your home or choice of location. Just relax so you can take care of other important things. I truly believe in the healing, therapeutic power of massage therapy and its been proven the large role of regular self care has in maintaining your physical and mental well being as a whole.
